For more than a century, Ascension has been serving Florida through the Ascension St. Vincent’s ministry in Northeast Florida, Southeast Georgia, and the Ascension Sacred Heart ministry on the Gulf Coast. Ascension St. Vincent’s
Ascension St. Vincent’s has more than 140 years of service to Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia and employs nearly 5,000 associates. Ascension St. Vincent’s is the inpatient market leader for invasive cardiology, cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery and orthopedics.
Includes three community hospitals in Riverside, Southside and Clay County areas and a network of long-term care centers, pharmacies, laboratory services, urgent cares, walk-in express care clinics, and imaging centers. A new community hospital in St. John's County will be completed in 2022.
Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent's offers a network of physicians and nurse practitioners in locations that span eight counties across the First Coast.
Ascension St. Vincent’s Mobile Health Outreach Ministry (MHOM) provides free acute and preventive medical care to those who are medically underserved in Northeast Florida, by bringing four fully staffed doctors’-offices-on-wheels to the neighborhoods where its services are needed most.
Ascension Sacred Heart
Ascension Sacred Heart was founded in 1915 in Pensacola by the Daughters of Charity and employs more than 5,000 associates today. Includes four community hospitals in Pensacola, Miramar Beach, Panama City and Port St. Joe, and a nursing home in Pensacola.
The Pensacola campus is home to the Studer Family Children's Hospital, the region's only hospital dedicated to the care of sick and injured babies, children and teens; the area's only Level II Trauma Center; and a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Ascension Medical Group Sacred Heart offers a network of physicians and nurse practitioners in locations that span 300 miles across the Gulf Coast.
Ascension Sacred Heart’s Miracle Camp provides camps and programs that lift the spirits of children and adults with chronic or life threatening illnesses. Thanks to this special place, people of all ages may experience a “getaway from the everyday.” The camp enriches the lives of its visitors and helps them better cope with the challenges they face by providing therapeutic camp experiences, such as Camp Bluebird for cancer survivors and patients coping with cancer.
