
Estrellita H. Redmon, MD, MBA, FACP
Dr. Estrellita Redmon is the Chief Clinical Officer for Ascension Florida and Gulf Coast which includes Ascension Sacred Heart, Ascension St. Vincent’s and Ascension Providence.
As the Chief Clinical Officer she is responsible for the clinical and operational performance across the continuum of care. Dr. Redmon provides leadership and guidance in the ongoing implementation of physician alignment strategies to foster a commitment to clinical quality and patient safety and to enhance patient, physician, and provider experience. She also provides leadership on implementing various care models and input into innovative approaches for value based care.
Dr. Redmon joined Ascension St. Vincent’s in July 2014 as Vice President of Clinical Integration. In March 2016, she became President and Chief Medical Officer of Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent’s. As the Ascension Florida and Gulf Coast regional ministry expanded to include Ascension Sacred Heart and Ascension Providence, Dr. Redmon was promoted to President and CMO of Ascension Medical Group for the entire Florida and the Gulf Coast market.
Prior to joining Ascension, Dr. Redmon served for 19 years at a large health plan in Tallahassee, serving initially as a primary care physician and later as Medical Director. Dr. Redmon earned a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Florida A&M University and her medical degree from the University of Florida, and in 2008 a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Virginia affiliated hospitals. Dr. Redmon is board certified in Internal Medicine and Health Care Quality Management and is a fellow in the American College of Physicians. Dr. Redmon is also a member of cohort 5 of the Ascension Leadership Academy.
